SEOUL, July 26 (Korea Bizwire) – Upon arrival of the rainy season in Korea, Kookmin Bank announced on July 24 that it is offering a “Trust Umbrella” service, which is lending customers their own umbrellas. The bank has placed a total of 10,000 umbrellas in 50 branch offices located in some of the busy streets for customer use.
The service is offered under mutual trust between the bank and the customer. Any customer of the bank can just pick up and take the umbrella when needed and return it afterward. There is no penalty for not returning the umbrella.
An official in Kookmin Bank said, “Like the ‘Trust Umbrella,’ we will put in non-stop efforts in searching for the even the smallest needs of our customers. With the “Trust Umbrella” service, we hope to develop a mutually trusting relationship with our customers.”
