SEOUL, July 6 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. announced that one of the company’s OLED TVs had been selected as the Best OLED TV at the 2022 Summer Best Buy Awards hosted by HiVi, one of most powerful HiFi magazines in Japan.
HiVi selects the best LCD and OLED televisions from each screen size.
The LG OLED EVO and LG OLED EVO Gallery Edition surpassed Sony, Panasonic and other Japanese TV makers to be selected as the best OLED TV.
The LG OLED EVO Gallery Edition, in particular, also won a gold prize and a distinguished first prize in the video category at this year’s summer awards hosted by Visual GrandPrix.
Japanese consumers are particularly sensitive to screen resolution with the highest average sales price for televisions in the world.
