SEOUL, Aug. 31 (Korea Bizwire) — Fans flocked to “SM Town Live 2022: SMCU EXPRESS,” which was held for the first time in three years at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from Saturday to Monday.
The festival, hosted by SM Entertainment, starred BoA, Super Junior, SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa and other SM artists.
Fans waited for their favorite celebrities to appear as they swung hand fans decorated with photos and names of stars.
Reflecting K-pop’s long history of popularity in Japan, fans of all ages were spotted in the audience.
SM Entertainment said tickets to all four days of the festival sold out with a total of 150,000 people attending the concerts.
