SEOUL, Dec. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — The Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corp. (KOMSCO) released an official medal to celebrate K-pop superstar BTS’ 10th anniversary next year.
The front side of the medal is inscribed with the word BTS and the names of its members.
On the medal’s left and right sides, the years 2013 and 2023 are inscribed to mark the boy band’s year of debut and the year of the group’s 10th anniversary.
The medal’s background has been covered with micro-patterns of the BTS logo, stretching out from the center.
The rear side of the medal is inscribed with the number 10 to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary, applied with a special sealing technology to shine like a mirror.
KOMSCO and Hybe Co., an entertainment agency behind BTS, decided to release the medal on two occasions.
The first batch of the medals will include three kinds of gold medals and one in silver, with a limited edition of 87,777 medals released worldwide.
