SEOUL, April 25 (Korea Bizwire) — A South Korean taekwondo grandmaster on Monday has set a new Guinness World Record for the highest jumping roundhouse kick.
Nam Seung-hyeon, head of the demonstration team at the World Taekwondo Headquarters, also known as Kukkiwon, achieved the feat on his 60th birthday by hitting a target apple placed 3.1 meters above the ground.
“A new Guinness World Record was set with a 3.1-meter jumping roundhouse kick, witnessed by an overseer from the organization,” the World Taekwondo Headquarters said.
He made a resolution three years ago to set a new Guinness World Record, according to the World Taekwondo Headquarters.
