SEOUL, Dec. 24 (Korea Bizwire) – Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance is being a good corporate citizen by donating seeing eye dogs to the visually impaired. On December 23, it offered five guide dogs following the donation of six dogs last June. The company opened a guide dog school in 1993 and has offered a total of 174 guide dogs to the blind until now. Among them, 64 are currently active.
Hwang In-sang, who received a guide dog on December 23, said, “Coming and going to school, I had many difficulties, and with the dog I’m very happy. I feel like the dog is my younger brother. Now, I’m studying music at college. The strength I feel from my guide dog will help my musical performance.”
