ULSAN March 16 (Korea Bizwire) – From March 20 to 24, the city of Ulsan, in collaboration with the Taehwa River Ecotourism Council, is set to introduce a unique sparrow-watching bus tour, marking an inventive initiative to commemorate World Sparrow Day and reacquaint city dwellers with these ubiquitous birds.
Designed to shed light on the often overlooked sparrow populations within urban settings, the bus tours are scheduled to run twice daily at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Departing from the parking lot of the Taehwa River National Garden, these three-hour excursions offer participants an intimate glimpse into the world of sparrows.
Guided by expert naturalists, attendees will have the opportunity to observe sparrows up close and learn about their ecology and physical characteristics. The tours also feature interactive sessions where participants can feed grains to the sparrows, fostering a hands-on experience with nature.
Interested individuals, families, or groups can secure their spots by making reservations through the Taehwa River Ecotourism website.
With a capacity of 12 people per tour, the event promises an intimate and engaging experience for all. Open to Ulsan residents with personal accident insurance, the sparrow-watching bus tours invite the community to reconnect with nature right in their urban backyard.
For more details and to book a memorable journey into the world of sparrows, potential participants are encouraged to reach out to the Taehwa River Tour Information Center.
