SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — A lovely rendition of Italian carmaker Fiat’s Cinquecento city car in a fridge has appeared on Daegu Department Store’s ninth floor. Ever thought of pulling out a refreshing soda can from under the beautiful retro hood of a Fiat? SMEG’s Fiat 500 is a small retro refrigerator in the form of the front half of a classic Fiat.
SMEG, the Italian manufacturer of unique domestic appliances, collaborated with Fiat to come up with a fridge quite unlike others. The fridge offers a capacity of 100 liters, and can be opened with a push on the hood. You can even turn the headlights on and off from the dashboard.
The SMEG Fiat 500 has been also presented at the Galleria Department Store in Seoul since last summer, and it has been attracting customers looking for unique interior items that can add character to their homes.
