SEOUL, Feb. 21 (Korea Bizwire) – Naver will start a Closed Beta Test (CBT) for its new SNS service ‘Pholar,’ which is based on the shared interest of users through tagging activities, on February 25, said the company on February 20.
Pholar will be a very effective and convenient user-to-user interaction platform that facilitates users’ sorting and sharing of text, images and video clips by simply typing and sorting hash tags. The Pholar service team started accepting applications for beta testing on February 2.
The team initially expected to have 5,000 applications and start the CBT on February 13. However, Naver had to postpone the CBT opening date as more than 10,000 applications flooded in.
