Stray Kids Earns 9th Gold Certification from U.S. Recording Industry for ‘Hop’

SEOUL, March 12 (Korea Bizwire)K-pop boy band Stray Kids has received its ninth gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for its 2024 single album “Hop,” the group’s agency said Wednesday.

According to the RIAA on Tuesday (U.S. local time), the eight-member group earned the certification after “Hop” surpassed 500,000 units sold in the United States.

With this feat, Stray Kids now holds nine RIAA gold certifications in the single category, joining previous hits, such as “Maniac,” “Back Door,” “Rock-Star,” “Ate” and “Maxident.”

The group is set to release a new digital single, “Mixtape: dominATE,” on March 21, marking the group’s first release of 2025.
