GYEONGJU, Oct. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s LG Electronics is showcasing its latest display technologies at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Gyeongju this week, transforming its transparent, wireless OLED television into an enormous chandelier-like installation.
The company said Tuesday it is participating in the four-day “K-Tech Showcase,” an official event alongside the high-profile business summit, held at a 1,652-square-meter outdoor exhibition dome in Gyeongju Expo Park.
The centerpiece is a ring-shaped structure made from 28 units of LG’s 77-inch Signature OLED T, a see-through TV that transmits both video and audio wirelessly. Suspended as though forming a cascading light fixture, the screens display immersive visuals such as falling stars and deep-sea environments. Visitors can view the installation from any direction, while the panels open and close in sync with the content.
The OLED T, which supports 4K resolution and features an ultrathin, transparent display, was awarded Best of IFA and top honors in home entertainment at Europe’s IFA 2025 trade show last month.
LG has also set up a booth at the APEC CEO Summit venue in Gyeongju Arts Center to highlight its “AI CoreTech,” integrating decades of motor and compressor expertise with artificial intelligence to power next-generation appliances.
The company said the exhibition is part of a broader effort to emphasize South Korea’s digital innovation and technological leadership to world leaders and global chief executives gathered for the annual economic forum.
