YEONGDEOK, Jun. 29 (Korea Bizwire) — The 11th Yeongdeok Lohas Beach Marathon will be held at Goraebul Beach in Byeonggok-myeon on July 12.
The main marathon route is 42.195 kilometers from the beach to the port of Chuksan.
There will be also a half course of 21 kilometers, a short course of 10 kilometers and a ‘healing’ course of 5 kilometers.
Especially known for vast views of clean sea and coast, the marathon festival features running legend Lee Bong-Ju this year.
Lee will run with other marathoners on the healing course.
A food market where marathoners can enjoy Yeongdeok specialties and shuttle-buses will be also operated.
