SEOUL & POHANG, Korea, Feb 17 (Korea Bizwire) – The POSCO Music Concert is returning with a more enriched program. Since being held first as the `Millennium New Year`s Eve Concert` in December 1999, leading Korean artists have performed at the POSCO Music Concert, regardless of genre. Marking 156 performances and over 140,000 cumulative attendees, the Concert has positioned itself as Korea`s premium best corporate music concert.
The three POSCO Music Concert keywords this year are `opportunity,` `passion,` and `challenge`. POSCO with the purpose of mecenat will continue to make music concerts with their unique way of moving audiences, giving opportunities to artists, and care for the socially disadvantaged.
The 2014 POSCO Music Concert will offer a range of genres to listen to, from classical to `indie` music, and even drum performances.
Moving away from the trend towards pop artists, the newly established collaboration performances bring together talented new artists and famous musicians.
In addition, opportunities are being given to artists in difficult situations and up-and-comers who have overcome disabilities, supporting their dreams.
