Sejong, July 21 (Korea Bizwire) – The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, together with the Hansik (Korean food) Foundation will co-produce a special program to promote culinary tourism in Korea.
A group of Vietnamese celebrities will visit Jeonju, Sunchang, and Namwon to experience Korean food culture. They will taste various types of Korean food, and learn how it is cooked by participating in the kitchen.
The crew started shooting on July 17, and the episodes will be aired in Vietnam in October.
Kang Min-soo, chairman of the Hansik Foundation, expressed his confidence in the venture, saying, “The South East Asian countries that are interested in Hallyu and Korean culture, including Vietnam, will feel closer to Hansik as well, after the special program on Hansik is aired”.
