TONGYEONG, Oct. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – Yachts from countries across the globe will gather in the port city of Tongyeong next month.
According to the organizing committee of Tongyeong’s International Yacht Competition, the biggest yacht race in Korea will be held from November 4 to 8.
A total of 150 yachts from 20 countries all over the world will participate, and 1,100 contestants are planning to enter, which is the largest number since 2007.
The committee explained that the event has grown to be one of the three largest yacht competitions after the China Cup and the King’s Cup in Thailand.
The most anticipated event of the competition is the opening ceremony, which will take place on the ocean, and the yacht parade.
In addition, various performances, exhibitions, and photo zones are expected to be staged.
