SEOUL, Feb. 25 (Korea Bizwire)BLACKPINK member Rose’s global hit single “APT.” remains strong on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart this week.

According to a Billboard chart preview released Monday (U.S. time), “APT.,” featuring Bruno Mars, ranked seventh, holding steady from last week’s position.

The song previously peaked at No. 3, the highest ranking for a female K-pop artist.

A track from Rose’s first solo full-length album, “rosie,” “APT.” has gained international popularity with its catchy chorus that repeatedly features the word “apartment,” pronounced as “apateu,” a Korean abbreviation of the word.

Released in October, “APT.” initially saw a decline after debuting at No. 8. However, it made an impressive comeback to the top 10 early last month, benefiting from the decline of Christmas songs.
