PURCHASE, N.Y., Oct. 7 (Korea Bizwire) — Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:AAWW) today announced the appointment of Chung Mak as Vice President APAC Sales and Marketing for Atlas Air, Inc. Mr. Mak will lead the company’s sales and marketing team in the Asia-Pacific region with responsibility for its commercial activities, customer relations and general management. He will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Michael Steen, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Mak held senior management positions at such leading companies as Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited and, most recently, the Seabury Group.
He received his Bachelor of Applied Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and his Master of Science in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mr. Mak succeeds Graham Perkins, who covered the APAC region for Atlas Air since 2002. Mr. Perkins has relocated to Atlas Air’s European headquarters in Farnborough, England, where he is currently Vice President Sales and Marketing Europe / Middle East / Africa / India (EMEIA).
