SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Korea Bizwire)A famous writer has claimed that both the South and North Korean administrations are oppressing him and his well-known wife.

Lee Ji-sung, a best-selling author, said in a recent post on social media that his wife, Cha Yu-ram, a professional pool player, is suffering because of his political orientation.

Lee added that he is under surveillance by a North Korean hacker unit.

According to Lee, Cha’s agency has suffered damage several times, including a failure to sign an advertising contract, for the advertiser was uncomfortable with Lee’s political inclinations.

In fact, Lee has been embroiled in controversy several times for writing articles revealing his conservative political orientation on Facebook.

Lee also refuted some responses from people saying it was absurd that he was under North Korea surveillance.

“I did not make a unilateral claim, but I learned it because the ESRC, a group of experts on security threats, examined my desktop computer and told me,” Lee said.
