JEJU, May 31 (Korea Bizwire)Jeju pork farms will be provided with quality breeding pigs from Canada, as a livestock agency in Jeju will import 150 pigs from Canadian farms, individually selected by its workers.

The agency will start to breed them to provide Jeju pig farms with quality pigs. The selected Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc pigs will arrive in Jeju by air in June.

After a thorough quarantine for 15 days, the pig group will be moved to the agency. The agency will then start to gradually provide the pigs to farms in Jeju.
