SEOUL, Nov. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — Daewoo Engineering & Construction (E&C) Co. said Wednesday it has broken ground for a high-rise building project in Hanoi, part of a major urban development initiative in the Vietnamese capital.
Daewoo E&C said it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project, named K8HH1, part of Hanoi’s Starlake new town development initiative, on Monday.
The project involves the construction of two 26-story apartment buildings with two underground levels, and one 20-story office building with two underground levels.
The total floor area of the K8HH1 project spans 113,302 square meters and the project will cost approximately US$270 million. Completion is expected to take 32 months.
