SEOUL, Feb. 5 (Korea Bizwire) - In a romantic gesture straight out of a movie, Samsung’s Everland theme park announced on February 4 that it will give one couple exclusive after-hours access to the entire park on Valentine’s Day, offering them a chance to experience a fantastical date night surrounded by dazzling lights and attractions with no other visitors present.
The special event will begin at 8 p.m. on February 14, after the park closes to regular visitors. The winning couple will be selected through a story submission contest running from February 4 to 6 on Everland’s official Instagram account.
The lucky pair will have the unique opportunity to stroll through themed gardens in private, enjoy rides like the Royal Jubilee Carousel, and visit the Moomin-themed shop where they can fill their baskets with merchandise. They can also indulge in popular snacks like churros while having the expansive park entirely to themselves.
“Everyone has probably dreamed of having a romantic date with their loved one in an empty theme park,” said an Everland representative. “We created this event to offer an unforgettable Valentine’s Day memory.”
Everland will capture the couple’s magical evening in a cinematic photo and video shoot, which will be given to them as a gift and, with their consent, shared on Everland’s social media channels.
The park is also offering special couple’s packages for regular visitors from February 14 to 16, which include admission for two, 10,000 Som points that can be used like cash within the park, and an all-you-can-fill bag of chocolates and candies as part of the Sweetness Overload special package.
Currently, Everland is hosting its Winteropia Winter Festival with Moomin, featuring a Nordic forest theme and nightly fireworks displays that illuminate the winter sky.
