The respondents were 9.8 percent more satisfied with life compared to those who did not visit the forest at all.
The survey also showed that roughly 50 percent of Koreans visit the forest more than once or twice a month.
Among the activities enjoyed in the forest, 76.8 percent were hiking, forest bathing and strolling, followed by relaxation, meditation, and appreciating the scenery.
