SEOUL, April 10 (Korea Bizwire) Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced Thursday the launch of South Korea’s first in-apartment meditation booths designed exclusively for individual use, a move aimed at enhancing mental wellness and emotional stability among residents.

Branded as the H Calming Booth, the new feature will debut at Hillstate Homeasil, a Hyundai apartment complex, as part of the company’s broader digital wellness initiative.

The booth is a private meditation space freely accessible to residents, providing a retreat for mindfulness and stress relief within the convenience of the residential community.

Outfitted with soft lighting, soundproof structures, and calming color palettes, the H Calming Booth is tailored to foster psychological relaxation and immersion. Hyundai partnered with South Korea’s leading meditation platform, MA:BO, to offer video-based guided programs, covering mindfulness, breathing exercises, and sleep improvement routines—making it accessible even to beginners.

The wellness offerings at Hillstate Homeasil extend beyond meditation. The complex will also feature H Healthy Pleasure, an AI-powered health care zone developed in collaboration with Dr. EXSOL and MyBenefit.

Installed in the group exercise (GX) room, the system uses motion recognition and biometric analysis to deliver personalized fitness routines based on body composition and joint mobility assessments—allowing residents to receive virtual coaching independently.

Both the H Calming Booth and the AI fitness zone are part of Hyundai E&C’s expanding H Series, a suite of digital well-being solutions. Demonstrations and walkthroughs of these amenities are also available through Hyundai’s official YouTube channel, Hillscasting.

“These innovations reflect growing public demand for mental wellness to be treated with the same importance as physical health,” a Hyundai E&C representative said. “By integrating the H Series into our residential developments, we aim to elevate both the quality of our housing and the day-to-day lives of our residents.”

Hyundai plans to roll out the H Calming Booth and related wellness technologies across additional Hillstate complexes in 2026, in line with increasing consumer interest in health-focused, tech-integrated living environments.
