Hyundai Glovis Ships Tesla EVs to Europe

SEOUL, Feb. 22 (Korea Bizwire)Hyundai Glovis Co., a logistics unit of South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Group, is working with U.S. carmaker Tesla Motors Inc., industry sources said Friday.

Some 4,000 Model 3 electric vehicles (EVs) were loaded onto a Hyundai Glovis transport ship in San Francisco heading for Europe on Tuesday (local time), they said.

CEO Elon Musk earlier tweeted a photo showing a Hyundai Glovis vessel in port.

It is reportedly the first time that Hyundai Glovis has inked a shipping deal with Tesla.

Tesla earlier decided to begin sales of the affordable Model 3 EVs in Europe and China.
