TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Johnson Components & Equipments Co., Ltd. (JCE) today announced the availability of the industry’s first MHL(R) 3.0 certified adapter to connect MHL-enabled mobile devices to any TV with an HDMI(R) port. The adapters are based on the latest MHL 3.0 standard supporting up to 4K UHD resolution, and backwards compatible with MHL 1.0 and MHL 2.0 devices. These adapters have been released under JCE’s global Avier brand and, in the future, will also be available to OEMs who would like to sell an MHL 3.0 adapter under their own brands.

“JCE was one of the earliest MHL Adopters, providing high quality and compliant accessories through our Avier brand to consumers and to leading OEMs,” said Paul Hsu, CEO of JCE. “We are the first to market with our MHL 3.0 adapter because we believe in the growth of MHL 3.0 mobile devices and accessories. We look forward to enabling consumers to connect their MHL 3.0 smartphones or tablets to Ultra HD TVs.”

JCE’s MHL 3.0 adapters support:
