PYEONGTAEK, Dec. 18 (Korea Bizwire) — Jebu Island’s Red Lighthouse, located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, has been decorated as a large Christmas tree.
The Pyeongtaek Regional Oceans and Fisheries Administration turned a 16-meter tall lighthouse located in Jebu Island Port into a Christmas tree for its end-of-year celebration.
The tree was decorated and lit up for the first time on Tuesday, and will be available for viewing until January 31.
The tree has been set up in hopes of a safe journey of all ships coming in and out of Jeongok Port, while offering a sight worth seeing to visitors coming to Jebu Island, the local officials said.
