SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Korea Bizwire)Yoochun of the South Korean boy band JYJ, who is currently working as a public servant in place of his mandatory military service, will release his first solo album later this month, his agency said Friday.

The EP, whose Korean title means “How Much Love Do You Have in Your Wallet,” will come out on Jan. 18, C-JeS Entertainment said, adding the former TVXQ member had been working on it since before his public service.

The album contains six tracks, with themes ranging from day-to-day issues to a message he’d wanted to deliver to his fans. It also includes live recordings of “Walking with Her in the Spring,” which he wrote and performed at a Tokyo Dome performance in 2013.

Japanese pianist Yuhki Kuramoto and South Korean female singer Yozoh contributed to the album, the agency added.

“Despite having been busy with movies and soap operas, Yoochun has planned this album to dedicate to his fans since before initiating his public service,” an agency official said. “It contains indie acoustic songs, which he normally enjoys listening to.”
