SEOUL, Nov. 16 (Korea Bizwire) – On Wednesday, KT unveiled the KT AI Human Studio, an innovative service harnessing generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology to craft virtual human videos effortlessly.
The KT AI Human Studio, a user-friendly web service, empowers individuals to create engaging video content without the complexities of intricate filming or editing processes. Users can easily select from an array of “AI human” models and voices, crafted using generative AI technology, and simply input text.
This achievement stems from KT’s collaborative efforts with CN AI, a specialized generative AI company that KT has actively supported since February. Notably, CN AI is a valued partner within KT’s AI Alliance.
All AI human models developed by KT are fictional characters generated through image creation technology, eliminating concerns related to portrait rights and copyright restrictions. This diverse lineup includes announcers, anchors, lecturers, show hosts, counselors, police officers, firefighters, flight attendants, university students, and even those adorned in hanbok. Users can enhance their videos by incorporating AI human movements, such as hand gestures, for a more dynamic experience.
KT’s AI Voice Studio offers a selection of over 100 AI voices in five emotions (angry, sad, neutral, calm, and happy) and five languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish), enabling creators to infuse vitality into their content.
With support for up to 4K UHD resolution, the platform ensures the production and download of crisp, high-quality video content. Notably, the system accommodates file uploads in PDF and PPT formats, facilitating easy video content creation for presentations or document-based lectures.
The service is available to all on a trial basis, providing access to six AI human characters for free. Later this month, KT will introduce three upgraded plans for professionals—Simple, Standard, and Premium. Regular updates featuring new AI human characters and diverse styles are set to roll out monthly.
Additionally, KT is launching a ‘Custom AI Human’ service catering to companies, local governments, and public institutions. Custom AI Humans, capable of leveraging real people, can be tailored to meet specific requests regarding gender, age, voice, and more. This specialized service includes comprehensive support, from filming to model creation and video compositing.
