SEOUL, Dec. 23 (Korea Bizwire)Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi on Thursday sued his former long time agency’s four executives, including the CEO, for embezzlement of company funds.

“Hook Entertainment has failed to disclose and pay the amount of profits generated from his music in the 18 years since his debut,” Lee’s attorney said.

The 35-years-old star also accused the company of pocketing some of his profits from shooting advertisements.

He reportedly nullified his contract with Hook Entertainment as of Dec 1.

The agency paid 630 million won (US$492,570), which includes both the advertisement profits and interest on Dec. 16, only after Lee made the accusations.

Last week, it sent 4.81 billion won to Lee without his consent and filed a lawsuit to confirm the absence of debt.

Lee said the intent behind the lawsuit wasn’t about money, but about the abuse that has been committed on hard work.

Lee announced that he will donate the 4.81 billion won to charity.
