LG Unveils AI-Enhanced Whisen Objet Collection Air Conditioners for 2025

SEOUL, Jan. 14 (Korea Bizwire) —  LG Electronics announced on January 14, 2025, the launch of its latest air conditioners, the ‘LG Whisen Objet Collection Tower I’ and ‘LG Whisen Objet Collection View I Pro.’

These new models are equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features designed to create an optimized cooling and air purification environment.

Key features include AI voice recognition, AI wind control, AI home monitoring, and AI heat exchanger cleaning. These functions enable the air conditioners to intuitively interact with users and autonomously manage cooling and hygiene.

The AI voice recognition system is powered by LG’s AI agent, ‘LG Purron,’ which goes beyond simple commands to understand user intentions.

For example, if a user says, “It’s too cold,” the AI responds with, “Shall I increase the temperature?” Similarly, it adjusts airflow direction when asked to stop the breeze.

The AI wind feature uses radar sensors to detect users’ real-time locations and learn their preferred temperatures to deliver optimal cooling.

The AI home monitoring function alerts users via the LG ThinQ app when movement is detected.

LG has also enhanced its self-cleaning capabilities. The AI heat exchanger cleaning feature analyzes humidity and temperature data to assess contamination and automatically initiates cleaning. This function ensures thorough sanitation without disassembling the unit.

Additionally, the ‘Smart Schedule’ feature on the LG ThinQ app allows users to set custom images or messages to appear on the air conditioner’s display on designated dates.
