SEOUL, Sep. 18 (Korea Bizwire) – C-JeS Entertainment announced on September 16 that the fans of Park Yoo-chun, a member of its Korean boy group JYJ, opened a library on Heuksan Island in South Jeolla Province.
His fan club, “Blessing Yoo-chun,” built the second library named after the heartthrob to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the fan club. Moreover the fan community donated both 6,600 books as well as 10 million won to the library. The book repository will also play roles as a study room for children on the island as well as a movie theater by making use of a beam projector.
Earlier, the first library also named after him opened on Jangsan Island in South Jeolla Province. At that time, his fans gave away not only 8,800 books but also 5 million won.
Blessing Yoo-chun is comprised of fans over the age of 30, doing good deeds for the celebrity. The fan club has donated a total of 150 million won, or about US$145,000, over the last four years.
“We are happy to see that his fans continue to help other people in need on behalf of Yoo-chun,” an official in his agency said.
