SEOUL, April 27 (Korea Bizwire) – Online retailer Lotte.com’s ‘Smart Pick,’ a service which enables its customers to pick up ordered items from 30 Lotte Department Store branches around the nation, has been most appreciated by male and female Koreans in their thirties, said the company on April 26.
According to a company report, customers in their thirties used the service most frequently, and they especially sought to pick up their items on Fridays. Customers can benefit from purchasing items at very cheap online prices and picking them up without waiting two or three days for them to arrive.
Among customers using Smart Pick, 21.6 percent picked up their parcels on Fridays, while 14.3 percent sought to pick them up between 6pm and 7pm, and 14.0 percent retrieved them in the morning between 10:30 and noon. It appears that workers usually pick up their items after work or before their lunch break.
Smart Pick is also a convenient and reasonable choice for consumers who find it bothersome to return their parcels to get a different size or to get a refund. Lotte.com said that the company is looking into including Seven Eleven, Lotte Mart and Lotte Super as Smart Pick bases.
