SEOUL, Dec.31 (Korea Bizwire) – The night sky of Jamsil will be brightened with beautiful lights to celebrate the coming new year.
Lotte Trading Company announced that they will display the ‘2016 Lotte World Tower New Year’s Twist Show’ by lighting LED lights installed from the 13th floor all the way up to the 100th floor of the Lotte Tower in Jamsil. The festive display will begin starting from December 31, and last until January 3.
To greet and celebrate the coming 2016 New Year, the theme of the display will be ‘Fanflare Festival’. Images of lights and of the sun will decorate the exterior of the Lotte Tower building. There will also be music in coordination with the lights prepared to accompany the spectacular display.
Beginning from 0 at the count down to the beginning of the next year on the final day of 2015, the display will continue until January 3. Light shows will occur every 20 minutes from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., lasting 5 minutes.
Marc Brickman, director of the New York Empire State Building lighting show, is directing the event.
Lotte has hosted the ‘Lumi Art Show’ this year from December 19th to the 25th to celebrate Christmas. The New Year’s light show is the second ‘Lumi Art Show’.
Lotte is planning to stage special Lumi Art Shows each season. The installations are designed to be viewed the best from a 1 kilometer distance.
