SEOUL, Dec. 13 (Korea Bizwire) –On Wednesday, Mercedes-Benz announced a significant achievement for its flagship luxury sedan, the S-Class, reaching a milestone of 100,000 units in cumulative domestic sales.

As reported by Mercedes-Benz Korea, the S-Class has achieved this impressive figure, totaling 100,911 units, from its fourth-generation model’s official launch in Korea in 2003 up to November of the current year.

This cumulative sales figure encompasses all S-Class sedan models, including those from Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Maybach, and Mercedes-AMG.

In the Korean market, the S-Class holds the position of the fourth-best-selling imported model, with 8,378 units sold during the first 11 months of the year. Notably, in the previous year, it secured the third spot with 11,645 units sold in Korea.

Mathias Vaitl, President of Mercedes-Benz Korea, emphasized, “Reaching the 100,000-unit milestone once again underscores the S-Class’ legacy, superior quality, and iconic status as a luxury flagship sedan in the Korean market.
