SEOUL, Sep. 23 (Korea Bizwire) – Huh Chang-soo, chairman of GS Group, highlighted that the company should put further efforts to become a sustainable corporation at a workshop for GS CEOs in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province from September 19 to 20.
Daniel Vasella, former chairman of long-lived global pharmaceutical company Novartis, and other leading business experts gave lectures and had discussions on the current business environment and strategies to deal with it.
The Korean conglomerate held the workshop to establish a foothold in and gain insight about the future business environment to develop into a sustainable corporation.
Experts present pointed out that long-lived companies have four aspects in common: prompt responses to the fast-changing business environment, pursuit of growth but control on avarice, proactive reactions in potential risks and balance between performance and soundness.
