BARCELONA, Feb. 2 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s tech giants Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are showcasing their latest commercial display technologies at ISE 2025, Europe’s largest display exhibition, held from February 4 to 7 in Barcelona.
Samsung has set up a 1,728-square-meter exhibition space, featuring a massive 462-inch ‘The Wall’ media façade at the entrance. The company is introducing its latest energy-efficient innovation, the ‘Samsung Color E-Paper,’ available in 13-inch, 25-inch, and 32-inch QHD resolutions, along with a 75-inch 5K outdoor model.
Samsung Color E-Paper employs ink technology on digital paper, consuming zero watts when displaying static content and requiring only minimal power for updates. Additionally, over 50% of its product cover is made from recycled plastic, and its packaging is entirely paper-based, reinforcing Samsung’s sustainability efforts.
Samsung has enhanced its AI-driven ‘SmartThings Pro’ platform to optimize signage usability and management. The B2B-integrated platform now features interactive view capabilities, which use AI to analyze user-uploaded floor plans and generate 3D visualizations.

Building on last year’s introduction of a 105-inch 5K smart signage, Samsung has unveiled an even larger 115-inch 4K QLED smart signage display equipped with Tizen 8.0, 700-nit brightness, and SmartThings Pro integration.
LG Electronics, under the theme ‘Growing Together with Customized Solutions,’ has transformed its exhibition space into real-world business environments such as retail stores, offices, schools, transportation hubs, and hotels.
At the entrance, LG has installed a kinetic LED display made of 88 LED signages, measuring 7.18 meters wide and 4.09 meters tall. Visitors can scan a QR code with their smartphones, allowing generative AI to convert their images into pop art displayed on the screen.
LG is also presenting its latest high-brightness digital signage with ‘Anti-Discoloration’ technology, designed to prevent screen yellowing caused by prolonged sun exposure. The company has improved heat dissipation and introduced sun-resistant materials to enhance display durability.
In addition, LG is unveiling an upgraded version of its ultra-high-definition micro-LED display, ‘LG Magnit.’ The latest model now allows for front-access adjustments to LED module alignment, an improvement from previous rear-only access. It also features enhanced LED controller capabilities and reduces standby power consumption by up to 98%.
The retail zone features signage solutions certified by global regulatory bodies for fire safety compliance with UK and EU standards. Among LG’s 22 certified products, three key retail-focused signages will be highlighted.
Visitors can also experience LG’s B2B digital whiteboards and its all-in-one commercial display management platform, ‘LG Business Cloud.’
Samsung and LG’s latest innovations underscore their commitment to energy-efficient, high-performance commercial displays, reinforcing their leadership in the global B2B display market.
“We aim to pioneer new markets by balancing energy efficiency, device management, and immersive display experiences,” said Jung Hoon, Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business.
“Our innovative solutions will enhance the value of various business environments and solidify LG’s leadership in the B2B market,” added Park Hyung-se, Head of LG Electronics’ MS Business Division.
