First held in 2015 with the goal of gathering public support for IT and science technology, the event has been held every year since with the goal of driving future growth.

However, this year’s event will take place with a new theme of ‘innovation’, marking a change of direction.

During the event, a number of government-backed research and development projects will be unveiled, including a deep-see robot that specializes in exploration called ‘Clapster’, as well as a vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
