SEOUL, April 6 (Korea Bizwire) — The Seoul Metropolitan Government said Wednesday it had created green spaces at two youth centers aimed at enabling teenagers who are excessively exposed to digital media to find mental stability by experiencing nature.
The Play Ground, established at the Boramae Youth Center, consists of a series of gardens.
The Boramae Youth Center plans to use this space to analyze the problematic behaviors of the teenagers and support their psychological, emotional and behavioral restoration and growth.
A Plant Lab will be installed at the Moonrae Youth Center, where students lacking the opportunity to contact nature will be able to feel and experience a variety of plants.
In particular, these green spaces will provide various sensory experiences to teenagers with developmental disorders who rely heavily on digital devices and lack the opportunity to experience various cultural activities.
