SEOUL, Apr. 12 (Korea Bizwire) – The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on April 11 that it is doubling the deployment of its ‘Arisu WOW Car’ this year, bringing refreshing water and Arisu-based beverages to outdoor events across the city for citizens carrying personal cups.

The Arisu WOW Car is the new name for the ‘Mobile Arisu Truck’ that the city launched in 2023. Last year, from July to October, the Mobile Arisu Truck made 32 stops at schools, local festivals, and other events, serving over 25,000 people.

This year, the Arisu WOW Car will make its first appearance at the Korea Children’s Expo at the COEX convention center in Seoul’s Gangnam District on April 12, followed by around 60 visits to 20 schools within Seoul, as well as events organized by the city and district offices.

At the Children’s Expo, various activities such as Arisu storytelling and character zones will be offered. The WOW Car will also promote the environmental benefits of drinking Arisu instead of bottled water, as it reduces plastic bottle usage.

From May to August, the Arisu WOW Car will participate in the Seoul Drum Festival on Nodeul Island, summer festivals at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), and the Sejong Summer Festival at Gwanghwamun Square. In September, it will be present at the Arisu Festival held in the Cheonggyecheon Plaza.

In addition to providing beverages, the WOW Car will offer a variety of entertaining activities, such as Arisu quizzes and games. It will also visit around 20 schools in Seoul during sports days and club events, reaching out to approximately 12,000 students and faculty members to promote the importance of clean and safe drinking water.

At district office events, the WOW Car will offer on-site consultations for water supply-related inquiries from local residents and accept applications for the Arisu Quality Check service, which provides free water quality testing for households.

Han Young-hee, the head of the Seoul Arisu Headquarters, stated, “We will bring the refreshing Arisu water and Arisu-based beverages to citizens throughout Seoul,” adding, “By providing essential drinking water in tumblers at outdoor events, we aim to promote the valuable culture of drinking Arisu while contributing to environmental conservation efforts.”
