SEOUL, May 9 (Korea Bizwire) – SK Communications announced that it recorded 5.6 billion won of business loss and 7.4 billion won of net loss, with 23.8 billion won of total sales revenue in the first quarter.
While it keeps incurring losses, its volume of operating loss decreased 46 percent to 5.6 billion won over the same period of the previous year thanks to reduction in operating expenses after last year’s large scale restructuring.
SK Communications plans to improve mobile user environment centering on Nate News and Pann to add competitiveness in the market as it almost finished its business restructuring such as the spinoff of Cyworld.
Besides, it will spur global business centering on its camera app Cymera which is expected to record 100 million downloads soon with integration of SNS features in it.
