SEOUL, Apr. 27 (Korea Bizwire) — SK Infosec, a security solution provider under South Korean conglomerate SK Group, said Friday it has forged ties with Tokyo-based Sompo Risk Care Management to make inroads into the Japanese market.
Sompo Risk Care Management is an affiliate under Sompo Holdings Inc., a major Japanese insurance company.
Under the partnership between SK Infosec and Sompo, the two companies plan to roll out joint security solution businesses in Japan.
SK Infosec will provide security services from South Korea, with Sompo taking charge of sales throughout Japan.
The South Korean company said it wishes to successfully move into the Japanese market, which is considered to have a challenging barrier, in cooperation with Sompo.
