SEOUL, Korea, Oct 28 (Korea Bizwire) – SK Telecom, Korea’s largest mobile communications service provider, held on October 26 a promotional event for older customers in their 50s and 60s “Bravo Happy Train.” Under this program, the company picked 180 customers through a raffle and gave away 360 free train tickets, including those for the winners’ spouses, to fall foliage destinations.
The company said that it prepared the event for middle-aged customers whose importance is rising every year due to the nation’s aging trend, as opposed to the general practice of focusing on younger age groups for marketing purposes.
The 360 SK Telecom customers who joined the train trip on the 26th stopped by at such attractions as the Gokseong Train Village, the banks of the Seomjin River, and the Gwanghan Gazebo in Namwon.
