SEOUL, July 5 (Korea Bizwire) — Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min, who has been residing in South Korea since late May, has begun training for the upcoming season.
Online communities have posted photos of the captain of South Korea’s national football team jogging along the bike path in the Han River Park despite the scorching summer heat.
He wasn’t wearing a hat, sunglasses or a mask to cover up his face, focusing only on the exercise.
He was seen around 9 a.m. jogging across the road near an apartment complex in Seoul’s Seongdong District, where he currently lives.
“I was worried about my health, and I wanted to show my Korean fans that our team’s doing a great job, so I’m off to an earlier start to exercise,” Son said Monday.
