SEOUL, April 28 (Korea Bizwire)Kyung Hee University Medical Center introduced a video conference system to allow communication with patients at the neonatal intensive care unit, which has enforced a no-visitor policy following the coronavirus outbreak.

The hospital currently limits the number of visitors to one guardian per ward, and has banned all entry to its intensive care units to prevent the spread of the pandemic.

The hospital has come up with a video conference system, however, in consideration of growing concerns among parents and guardians for their children, who have to endure medical treatment alone in the ICU.

Parents will now be able to talk to medical staff in real time as they watch their children.
