SEOUL, July 14 (Korea Bizwire) — The Character Licensing Fair 2023, South Korea’s largest fair for the character industry, took place at COEX in southern Seoul on Thursday.
For the first time ever, a webtoon booth was set up at the fair.
The booth, measuring 7 meters in width and 4 meters in height, resembled a stockpile of massive comic books, showcasing a variety of webtoon publications and merchandise.
According to SINA, the artist responsible for designing the webtoon booth stated that it took one month to install the oversized book props, which were adorned with computer graphics.
The artist’s storyboard adorned the booth’s floor, illustrating the entire process of cartoon production.
