Pyeongchang, Korea, July 31 (Korea Bizwire) – The second annual Pyeongchang Outdoor Festival will be held for three days between August 2 and 4 in the mountainous town of Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province. Sponsored jointly by the Ministry of the Gender Equality & Family and Korea Youth Work Agency and hosted by the Pyeongchang National Youth Center, participants can enjoy more than 20 kinds of athletic activities including zip-line (aerial ropeslide), challenge rope course, sport climbing, and rafting. Those families unable to spend three days can make a short day trip as well.

The Pyeongchang National Youth Center is the first facility established in 1998 by the government to allow youths to experience the nature and instill the esprit de corps. With the total floor area of 478,000 square meters, the center can accommodate up to 792 visitors. In addition to 76 dormitory halls, it has 25 rooms for family guests.
