SEOUL, Oct. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — For the first time in the nation, a golf tournament that allows golfers to be accompanied by their pet dogs will be held.
SKY72 Golf & Resort situated in Yeongjongdo, Incheon announced that it would allow dogs owners to participate in the golf contest to be held on November 7.
The contest will incorporate a shotgun start on a 9-hole course. “Dog expert” Lee Ung-jung will also participate to offer pet advice and show demonstrations on model dog behavior.

The profits from the contest will be donated to the Korea Animal Protection & Education Society to be used to help abandoned dogs and contribute to other promotional efforts.
