SEOUL, Nov. 19 (Korea Bizwire) — Various modern Korean desserts recreated from traditional ones have caught the attention of Parisians.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government held a special food exhibition, titled ‘Sweet Seoul,’ at the Galleries Lafayette from Friday to Sunday last week offering a variety of Korean desserts to residents and visitors.
Galleries Lafayette is one of the leading shopping spots in France with 120 years of history, attracting more than 37 million visitors every year.
The exhibition, which highlights the confections of five Korean dessert makers from Seoul, will move to New York on Wednesday and Thursday at Jungsik, a famous Korean restaurant in Manhattan, to promote Korean desserts.
