SEOUL, April 3 (Korea Bizwire) — A local company is introducing new policies to promote social distancing.
GS Home Shopping, a major South Korean home shopping operator, announced Thursday that it had started a ‘company dinner at home’ program to help local restaurants struggling in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak, while ensuring a safe dining environment for staff and their families.
The company pays as much as 30,000 won (US$24.40) for each meal employees order from nearby restaurants.
As part of its health and welfare support for staff members, the company also introduced a home training program.
In addition, the company recently used video calls to conduct interviews with job applicants, and plans to carry out all future recruitment processes via video except for graduate applications.
