SEOUL, July 14 (Korea Bizwire) — Naver Map users will now be able to receive recommendations of nearby restaurants through artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Naver Corp., South Korea’s top Internet portal operator, announced Monday that it will introduce ‘Smart Around’, a new AI-based location recommendation service, for Naver Map.
Smart Around, first developed in 2018, features AI technology that recommends nearby restaurants or cafes based on the user’s age, gender, current time and location.
The service will be made available on Naver Map starting on Monday.
The new recommendation service will share information about 28,000 small businesses each day, helping local businesses gain more channels of contact with potential customers, Naver explained.
